CHAIRMAN OMENANI AWKA REAFFIRMS AUSTIN NDIGWE AS AWKA MONARCH, CONDEMNS SOLUDO-LED PANEL OUTCOME Chief Toochukwu Nwokoye Nwosu, Chairman of Omenani Awka, the apex body representing traditionalists (Ndi Omenala) in Awka has strongly reaffirmed Chief Austin Ndigwe as the legitimate monarch of Awka Kingdom, dismissing the recent findings of the Commission of Inquiry set up by Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo. In a strongly worded statement issued today, Chief Nwosu described the panel's conclusions  which reinstated Obi Gibson Nwosu (Eze Uzu II) and declared Austin Ndigwe's claims invalid and an affront to the state government as a biased and unacceptable imposition on Awka's indigenous traditions. ENSURE THE KILLERS OF HON. JUSTICE AZUKA FACE JUSTICE, YAPJEN TASK THE NPF

A Good Governance and  Advocacy Group, Youth Advocates for Peace, Justice and Empowerment Network [YAPJEN] has called on the Inspector General of  Police Kayode  Egbetokun , the Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Police Command to ensure that the killers of Justice Azuka are made to face justice.  Late Justice Azuka who before his gruesome murder was the member representing Onitsha North 1 Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly. The law maker's body was found by the roadside of the second Niger Bridge. Azuka's lifeless body said to be already decomposing  was found by a joint team of security operatives in the early hours of Thursday, the 6th of February, 2025. UNESCO to partner SDG National Council as Dr. Idowu, Sec. Gen NATCOM UNESCO hosts Amb Nwachukwu

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) will collaborate with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) National Students Council, Office Of The Senior Special Assistant To The President of Nigeria on Students Engagement towards the localisation of Sdgs in Nigeria's Educational Institutions.  This was disclosed by Dr. Lateef Idowu, the Secretary-General of the Nigerian National Commission for UNESCO (NATCOM UNESCO), when the SDG National Students Council led by its National Coordinator, Ambassador Timothy Nwachukwu paid a courtesy visit to the NATCOM UNESCO office in Abuja, Nigeria's capital city. FFS HOLDS COLOUR DAY The 2023 Colour Day of Finimah Foundation Schools held on Friday, 22nd September 2023 in the school premises was an auspicious occasion; opulent, grandiose, ritzy, palatial, magnificent and one that will go down the annals of history for it's uniqueness. Pupils/Students of Finimah Foundation Schools glowed in different hues and tints of colours and enjoyed a memorable learning experience. They engaged in painting, origami and collage activities in a lively, vibrant and high-spirited environment: utilizing every moment to achieve the best of Arts/Crafts for a colourful extra- curricular activity. The climax of the event was the official launching of the Finimah Foundation Schools Innovative Centre with a speech from the Director, Justice Gbiega ESQ, the unveiling of the Innovative Cake and the representation of pupils/students from each classes.
